The Product Leader will be responsible for guiding the project from concept through to market launch, ensuring the new flavor drink meets consumer expectations and business objectives. Key Responsibilities: Product Strategy and Planning: Develop and define the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for the new flavor drink, aligning with overall business goals and market trends. Conduct market research to identify consumer preferences, competitive landscape, and potential market opportunities for the new flavor. Define key product features, positioning, and unique selling propositions (USPs) based on market insights and consumer feedback. Product Development and Management: Lead the product development process, working closely with R&D, flavor experts, and suppliers to create and refine the new drink flavor. Oversee formulation, testing, and quality assurance to ensure the final product meets taste, safety, and regulatory standards. Manage product lifecycle stages, including concept development, prototype testing, and final production. Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive go-to-market strategy, including launch plans, marketing campaigns, and distribution strategies. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to create promotional materials, advertising campaigns, and product positioning strategies. Coordinate with distributors, retailers, and partners to ensure successful product placement and availability in the market. Project Management and Coordination: Develop and manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective product launch. Coordinate cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, production, and supply chain, to ensure alignment and smooth execution. Monitor project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep the project on track. Consumer and Market Insights: Gather and analyze consumer feedback, sales data, and market trends to evaluate product performance and identify areas for improvement. Conduct focus groups, surveys, and other research methods to gain insights into consumer preferences and behaviors. Adjust product strategies and plans based on insights and performance metrics. Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and present regular updates, reports, and presentations on product development progress, market performance, and key metrics to stakeholders. Document all aspects of the product development process, including key decisions, changes, and lessons learned. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Product Leader or Product Manager, with a strong background in product development and launch within the beverage industry. Demonstrated expertise in market research, product strategy, and go-to-market planning. Strong understanding of beverage industry trends, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements. Excellent project management skills, with experience in managing cross-functional teams and delivering projects on time and within budget. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret market data and consumer insights to drive product decisions. Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams and stakeholders. A degree in Business, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field is preferred.
