Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in IT and mechanical systems with a strong ability to diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment or systems. The Technician will be responsible for performing technical tasks efficiently, ensuring all equipment and systems operate smoothly and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Installation and Setup:

    • Install, configure, and set up equipment or systems according to manufacturer specifications and company standards.
    • Perform initial testing and calibration to ensure proper functionality.
  2. Maintenance and Inspection:

    • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to ensure equipment or systems are operating at peak performance.
    • Replace or repair worn or defective parts and components as needed.
  3. Troubleshooting and Repair:

    • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues with equipment or systems to identify the root cause of problems.
    • Repair or replace faulty components and ensure systems are restored to optimal working condition.
    • Document and report any recurring issues or significant findings.
  4. Customer Service:

    • Provide professional and courteous service to clients or end-users, explaining technical issues and solutions clearly.
    • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and effectively.
  5. Safety and Compliance:

    • Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while handling equipment, tools, and hazardous materials.
    • Ensure all work is performed in compliance with relevant industry standards and company policies.
  6. Documentation and Reporting:

    • Maintain accurate records of service activities, including repair details, maintenance schedules, and parts used.
    • Prepare and submit detailed reports on service performed and any recommendations for future maintenance.
  7. Collaboration and Coordination:

    • Work closely with other team members, including engineers, managers, and support staff, to coordinate tasks and resolve complex issues.
    • Participate in team meetings and contribute to ongoing process improvements.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Technician or in a similar technical role,
  • Relevant technical certifications or training in mechanical or IT is preferred.
  • Proficiency with tools and equipment related to the technician’s area of expertise.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and address technical issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical information to non-technical users.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation may be required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment or materials (up to [specific weight]).
